  • Our Congregation

Our Congregation is a diverse group of ages and ethnicity, gathering together to live out our faith in our Lord Jesus. We have people from Europe, Asia, Central America, South America and, of course, Canada. We seek to welcome people both in word and deed into our midst and are striving to build a community that meets, eats, shares and prays together.

Augustine wrote: “You have made us for yourself, and our hearts are restless, until they can find rest in you.” Indeed, our hearts are restless, seeking to be filled with the pleasures that this world offers, but no thing will fill that portion in our hearts that God designed for himself to fulfill. Not even friends and family can fill that space. Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” There really is only one way, not because I want it so, but because He who came from the Father said so.

Regardless of whether you choose to worship here at Lakeside Heights Baptist Church, or another Christ-centered church, we encourage you to worship the one true living God, who sent his Son for you and me. And if you do visit us, I’d love to meet you personally and make your acquaintance during coffee hour.

    Pastor Joshua

  • Our Mission Statement

Lakeside Heights Baptist Church has recently adopted our first Mission Statement. We are now using this statement to guide our decisions, and to measure how effective our programs are. Please consider its meaning for you, and how you as an individual might use it to further God’s work.

Our mission is to receive people in a warm and friendly manner, as we work to provide an opportunity for people to come to God through Christ.

We are committed to, and challenged in our spiritual growth through:

    • Studying God’s word for its teaching, correction, and training
    • Praying for each other and our society
    • Celebrating our new life in and through Jesus Christ
    • Communicating God’s promises to our community
